Travelling

As I have a tracheotomy, I cannot travel in a normal ambulance, only in special ones, with ventilation equipment, which are very expensive. And as I cannot sit in a normal car without falling, the only way for me to travel, is to travel in my wheelchair. So we bought a little van, and had it arranged so that the wheelchair could be fixed into it. The wheelchair takes the place of three people, so only the driver and another person can travel with me. Bernard pushes the wheelchair up in the van, with the help of two rails forming an inclined plane. With this van, we can visit brothers and sisters all around France, and go to our country house in the Jura, which would be impossible if I had to travel in an ambulance.
